Do

Wash your skin with fresh, clean water, either cold or lukewarm.

Use fresh and clean hand towels to dry your skin, pressing lightly.

Wash your pillowcase every day or replace it with a fresh cover.

Don’t

Don’t pick at your blackhead or try and ’squeeze’ or ‘pop’ the blackhead with tweezers or with other devices as this can cause scarring, damage to the pore or further worsen your blackhead.

Don’t apply oils or other facial products that contain oily ingredients to your skin as this can clog up the pore and cause the blackhead to thicken.
